Eco edits from luxury e-tailers are on the rise. CO takes a closer a look at buyer selection criteria and highlights the threats and opportunities for sustainable fashion brands.

The launch of eco edits is gaining pace in the luxury market as an increasing number of consumers are consciously searching for sustainable fashion. 

Luxury e-tailers Net-a-Porter, Farfetch, The Iconic and Nordstrom all launched eco edits in 2019 while Galeries Lafayette decided to continue with its Go for Good edit, launched in September 2018. 

Galeries Lafayette is also a signatory to the recently announced G7 Fashion Pact along with Selfridges and Nordstrom.
