Course outline:

In this course, we will walk you through the step-by-step process of creating a sustainability roadmap. By the end of the course, you will be able to articulate your sustainability vision and spell out the strategy and action plan for your business. 

Course outcomes:

• Identify your overarching sustainability values and define your vision

• Learn how to prioritise your key areas of focus

• Set measurable and actionable goals to achieve business objectives

• Create sustainability policies

• Prepare a plan to implement your sustainability strategy 

Course structure

You will receive five emails with resources, guidance and tools over five weeks:

MODULE 1: Defining a sustainability vision

Define your values to clarify and articulate your sustainability vision

MODULE 2: Identifying sustainability objectives

Identify and prioritise the areas where you can take action

MODULE 3: Setting sustainability targets

Now that you have your objectives in place, turn them into a framework with measurable targets

MODULE 4: Creating sustainability policies

Take your targets – aligned to your identified sustainability objectives – and use them to develop relevant policies and procedures

WEEK 5: Assignment

Receive guidance and a template to submit your sustainability roadmap and policy.

Assignment

In week five of the course, you will be asked to submit a sustainability roadmap and policy. Once you have successfully completed and submitted your roadmap and policy you will gain a CO Credit. Your CO Credit Training badge will be displayed on your CO profile and any business you are associated with on Common Objective within 1 week of successfully completing the course.

Please note that the CO team does not vet, review, endorse, or feedback on the content of your roadmap or policy. The credit associated with this course is for completion of the course and associated assignment.
