The prevailing linear take-make-dispose model of fashion production and consumption has large economic, environmental and social impacts.

This report from the Ellen MacArthur Foundation lays out the vision for an industry based instead on a circular model, where clothes, textiles and fibres are kept at their highest value during use and re-enter the economy afterwards, never ending up as waste.
