The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH’s regional project, FABRIC Asia, launched the Women’s Centers Network Exchange workshops to promote gender-equitable working conditions in the garment industry, bringing together centers from Bangladesh, Cambodia, and Myanmar.
This concept paper aims to explain the key insights and principles emerging from this workshop, emphasising their applicability and potential impact on a broader international scale, while addressing the critical issues of sustainability and the role of trade unions.
