A climate-positive denim expression emerging from Himalayan material innovation
Crafted using HimGra® — a next-generation natural fibre derived from wild perennial Himalayan grass, this project demonstrates how low-input, rain-fed fibre systems can translate into scalable, performance-ready textiles for responsible fashion.
Each HimGra material carries a Material Passport, enabling traceability across origin, processing logic, quantified climate impact, and community livelihood linkage — supporting transparent decision-making beyond generic sustainability claims.

Developed in collaboration with Jindal Denim and curated under HimGra Vishwa Vaibhav 2027 by Shivam Mittal Textile Design 2025 from NIFT Mumbai, the initiative reflects how material innovation, industrial validation, and design education can converge to accelerate future-ready supply chains.
