On October 3rd 2025, the STAR Network participated in an esteemed panel hosted by EnergyLab Asia during their flagship Clean Energy Week events.
Titled "๐๐น๐ฒ๐ฐ๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐ณ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐๐ฎ๐บ๐ฏ๐ผ๐ฑ๐ถ๐ฎ'๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐ฆ๐ฒ๐ฐ๐๐ผ๐ฟ", it brought to the surface an important discussion on the nation's potential for renewable energy leadership, as looming deadlines of 2030 brand sustainability commitments, and its own NDC 3.0 commitments looks to take center stage.
STAR was represented by Mr. Sovichea Saron, Head of the Secretariat, who shared with the panel and audience the regional insights of STAR as a network of associations from Asia's most important producing nations:
โThe industry is saying that renewable energy is important, and buyers are demanding it. Itโs no longer aspirational, we need to do it, and we want it. So, please make it easier.โ - Sovichea Saron
His sharing recalled the consolidated insights, case studies, and recommendations from ๐ฆ๐ง๐๐ฅ'๐ ๐ฃ๐ผ๐๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ผ๐ป ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ป๐ฒ๐๐ฎ๐ฏ๐น๐ฒ ๐๐ป๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ด๐ ๐๐ฑ๐ผ๐ฝ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป โ a testament to the interconnectedness and collaborative learning of STAR members.
