How you will learn:
There are two different learning formats to choose from:
- Self-paced or
- Tutor-guided
Gain a course completion certificate:
The modules teach you how to minimise climate risks and reduce greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) in your business operations. The five modules of the training are:
- Why climate action,
- GHG emissions,
- GHG accounting,
- Target setting,
- Solutions: Energy efficiency and renewable energy.
What you will learn:
After completing all modules, a final exam can be taken, and a certificate is issued upon completion.
For the tutor-guided courses, many local organisations and consultants from various countries as well as ZDHC affiliated trainers were trained on Climate Action Training. The list of all trainers can be found on the UNFCCC website.
Free of charge:
The Climate Action Training is completely free of charge.
Languages available:
English, Mandarin, Khmer, Bengali, Vietnamese, Italian and Turkish.
Extended training resources: Vietnamese users only
The Climate Action Training with Energy Efficiency is an extended learning resource based on the original content of the Climate Action Training. It is enriched with local and up-to-date knowledge delivered in Vietnamese by local trainers in Vietnam with practical knowledge for Vietnamese users.
The program aims to strengthen knowledge of GHG accounting, setting GHG targets and driving GHG reduction programmes to support the collective drive for data accuracy and GHG reduction with the aim of reaching net-zero emissions by 2050.
