How to Post a Notice on Your Organisation Profile

If you have a Premium Organisation Profile on Common Objective, you have the opportunity to share important updates - like news, events, innovations, or opportunities - directly with CO’s global community. This article and video show you how to post and manage a notice that will be seen across the platform, helping you reach thousands of professionals working towards a more sustainable fashion industry.

What Is a Notice?

A Notice is a custom message that appears:

  1. At the top of your business profile

  2. On the CO Noticeboard (visible to all users)

  3. On every user's personalised dashboard

  4. Alongside relevant articles across the site

It’s a powerful way to promote what’s new and important about your work.


How to Post a Notice

To get started, make sure:

  • You have a Premium Organisation Profile

  • You are listed as an Administrator for your business profile - if you're not, contact someone who is or get in touch with the CO team for support.


Then follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Common Objective account and go to your Business Profile.

  2. If a notice already exists, you’ll see a ✏️ pencil icon to edit it. If not, click the “Set up a notice” button.

  3. In the Edit Content area, you’ll be prompted to:

    • Choose a category: Event, News, Opportunities, or Innovation

    • Add a title, description, button text, and URL

    • Upload a background image (you can crop it before saving)

  4. Click Save, and your notice will be published and automatically displayed across the site.
